How does it work?
The answer is PRP! We use the patients own blood to draw off plasma which is used to then generate growth factors. These growth factors are then injected into the vaginal tissue. PRP allows for rejuvinated lubrication, increased blood flow, new nerve endings, and increased collagen. Results vary but most women see results within 12 weeks and some women need 2-3 shots. Results last anywhere between 12-18 months.
The Procedure
First, we draw your blood. Then, using a centrifuge and a special method, platelet rich plasma is isolated and activated creating multiple growth factors. This process takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Our nurse practitioner then applies a numbing cream to the vaginal area in order to anesthetize the nerves leading to the clitoris. Once the area has been numbed she will inject the growth factors into the clitoris and vaginal area  to increase collagen, redefine nerve endings, and improve blood flow. The procedure takes about 45-60 minutes and patients report NO PAIN!
